It's easy to root for Lumbus when they're playing the Penguins. Too bad Fleury was too.

Penguins were given a gift in 2009.

Good to see teams like Columbus and Dallas who have a worse attendance record than the NYI reward their long suffering "fans".

Fleury is just one of those guys who doesnt pick it up in the playoffs a-la Lundqvist, Rask, Miller. He is more in the Price and Byzgalov tier of playoff performers

100% How does one not root for a giant killer. This is the kind of series that sells seasons tickets. Great Job CBJ.

They did it without Murray and Tyutin on the backend, yelled so loud I think I woke up my neighbor, truly an inspiring performance specially in OT with RJU blocking the shot then giving an opportunity for Foligno to end it, that in a nutshell resumes how they have been playing all year.

Well done jackets! You guys are in good hands with Davidson at the wheel, expect some good years to come he did a great job in St. Louis. Definitely rooting for you guys out of the east!

I'm happy for you guys. Kinda wish Scott Howson got a wee bit of credit for laying a pretty good foundation.

I am one of those who thinks that if " fictionally" speaking they were to win a cup, he should get a ring, this is pretty much his team on the ice.

Not to really argue, but x100% is the same thing as x1...

Pittsburgh is simply not playing like they want it as badly. The talent discrepancy on the top lines is evident, but to a man, Columbus simply refuses to quit on this series. Good on them, hopefully they can make it to round 2.

just tells you all you need to know about this franchise. it is a shame to see a franchise that had so much potential continue to be brought down by the "country club" atmosphere.

I see one team that has a fired up fan base who wants to go on. I see another team that doesn't care enough to match their intensity and they simply don't have the talent to overcome that fact like in previous years.

changes need to happen in Pittsburgh, the further we go on, the lesser chance that it will happen. based on that and the passion from Columbus, we could lose the next 2 and I would be just fine with that.

Fleury poop the bed and gave them that one but I was definitely rooting for them to beat Pittsburgh. Good series so far

Second best series so far this round. I was hoping for more out of the LA/SJ matchup. It would be tough to beat the STL/CHI series for pure entertainment value though.

me too.

penguins fans are spoiled and entitled and so are the players. management will be forced to make changes this offseason if this series continues and I cant wait.
